Cason and Jesse’s in water engagement session on St. John

When Cason and Jesse told us they were coming to St. John and wanted a fun and different engagement session, we knew that a sunrise session would be a great place to start. There’s just something about sunrise on St. John, the light hits different and it’s so peaceful and quiet before everyone starts their day to hit the north shore. It’s like you have this whole little Narnia to yourself. We met at Peace Hill at first light and watched the sun come up over St. John. After spending some time dancing around on the top on the hill, overlooking the British Virgin Islands, we hiked down to Dennis Bay for a short beach session before getting in the water. Since Cason had previously lived on St. John, we knew she was a water lover so we suggested taking portraits in and underwater at the end the shoot. These are truly some of our favorite photos underwater, everything just lined up perfectly. Check it out.
